WAXAHACHIE COMMUNITY THEATRE PRESENTS "SOUTH PACIFIC" |

Waxahachie Community Theatre announces performances of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical, "South Pacific." The show stars Erika Larsen as Nellie Forbush and Jerry Ellis as Emile de Becque, and features Mark Harbec as Luther Billis and Mary Fran Stricker as Bloody Mary.
Performances will be May 4-6, 2012 at the Chautauqua Auditorium in Getzendaner Park in Waxahachie. Show times are:
Friday, May 4 -- 7:30 PM
Saturday, May 5 -- 7:30 PM
Sunday, May 6 -- 2:30 PM
Advance tickets are $10 for seniors/students and $12 for adults and can be purchased online beginning April 1 at www.waxahachiecommunitytheatre.com. NOTE: a service charge will be added to the price of each ticket for online purchases.
Advance tickets are also available at the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, The Ellis County Museum on the square in Waxahachie, and at the offices of Jerry Ellis, D.D.S. in Midlothian. Tickets at the door are $2 more.

TEXAS COUNTRY REPORTER FESTIVAL IN DOWNTOWN WAXAHACHIE |

Mark your calendars for the 17th Annual Texas Country Reporter Festival being hosted around the historic courthouse square in downtown Waxahachie on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9 a.m-7 p.m.
Visitors can expect to be entertained all day, including a FREE concert.
Bob Phillips will kick-off the Festival at 10 a.m. with a grand entry into the city. More than 200 booths will be set-up with artists, craftsmen, food, entertainment and alumni from the Texas Country Reporter series.
